There is a bus every 10 minutes, which goes to all the lovely beaches such as Achladies, Vromolimnos and the popular beach of Koukounaries.

Travel information

By Plane: Taxis are available from the airport at an additional cost. Journey time from the airport to Amalthia is 5 to 8 minutes. By Sea: Skiathos is reachable by ferry from Agios Constantinos or Volos in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Speedboats take one hour and 30 minutes (please note that speedboats cannot carry cars). Taxis are also available from the port at an additional cost. Journey time from the port to Amalthia is 5 to 8 minutes.
